Chateau Stars Return: New Season Airs in South Africa First!

The beloved series Escape to the Chateau has returned with a tenth season, much to the delight of fans. While originally slated to conclude with its ninth season in 2022, the show is now airing new episodes.

South African fans are the first to access the new season, with Dick and Angel Strawbridge announcing the premiere on The Home Channel. They shared their excitement on Instagram, inviting their South African "friends" to join them back at the chateau for more adventures.

Globally, fans are eagerly anticipating the new season. The Strawbridges explained that the series' original ending in 2022 was a difficult decision motivated by their children's growth. Arthur's transition to senior school and the general pressures on the family led them to protect their children's privacy.

However, a tenth season was subsequently filmed, capturing a new chapter for the family. Dick stated that this decision was made after including their children in discussions, noting significant changes as Arthur and Dorothy are now young adults. The family is considering an eleventh season to complete ongoing projects from the tenth.
