Erykah Badu is set to headline a special performance before the inaugural "Soul on the Sea" cruise sets sail. This exclusive docked show at the Port of Miami will celebrate the 30th anniversary of her groundbreaking debut album, "Baduizm."
The "Soul on the Sea" cruise is scheduled for April 12 through April 17, 2027. The five-night experience will feature a lineup of prominent R&B and hip-hop artists, including Boyz II Men, SWV, Keyshia Cole, October London, De La Soul, Raheem DeVaughn, and Big Daddy Kane.
"Baduizm," released in 1997, was pivotal in establishing Erykah Badu as a leading voice in the neo-soul movement. The album included the Grammy-winning hit "On & On," a signature track for the five-time Grammy winner.
Following the docked performance, the cruise will depart Miami aboard the Norwegian Joy. The itinerary includes stops in Cozumel, Mexico, and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas, before returning to Miami. Organizers aim to provide fans with intimate encounters with artists through live shows and collaborations.
Presale bookings for past Rose Tours cruisers begin Friday, September 18, 2026, at noon ET, with general sales starting Monday, September 21, 2026, at noon ET.
