Actor Emraan Hashmi recently experienced a near-miss while performing a high-risk stunt for his upcoming film, Gunmaaster G9. A behind-the-scenes video circulated online, depicting an SUV flipping over and crashing onto a black van, appearing to come perilously close to the actor.
The film's climax sequence featured the SUV suspended from a crane before flipping. It is unclear if the incident was a planned part of the stunt or an accident. As of now, no injuries have been reported, and the film's production team has not yet issued a statement regarding the viral clip or the safety measures on set.
Gunmaaster G9 is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27. Directed by Aditya Datt, the movie also features Genelia Deshmukh, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Singh. Earlier in June, the film's shoot in Haridwar faced minor disruption due to local objections over a signboard, which was later resolved by the producers.
