Emraan Hashmi's Swine Flu Scare Amidst Box Office Triumph

Emraan Hashmi has been diagnosed with swine flu (H1N1) after experiencing illness post-work travel, including a trip to Ranchi. The actor is currently recovering and resting as advised by medical professionals. His positive diagnosis comes as 'Awarapan 2,' in which he stars, achieves significant box office success, crossing the Rs. 200 crore milestone.

Due to his condition, Hashmi had to postpone a scheduled performance in Bengaluru. He informed his fans via Instagram Stories, assuring them the event would be rescheduled. The postponed show is now set for September 12, with existing tickets remaining valid. This event marks Hashmi's return to stage performances after nearly two decades.

'Awarapan 2,' directed by Nitin Kakkar, is an action thriller focusing on themes of child trafficking and redemption. It stars Hashmi as Shivam Pandit alongside Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi. Hashmi's next project, 'Gunmaster G9,' is slated for release on November 27.
