Emraan Hashmi Teases Awarapan 3 Sequel

Emraan Hashmi has sparked considerable excitement among fans by hinting at the possibility of a third installment in the "Awarapan" franchise. This speculation arose during a special screening in Mumbai for the recently released "Awarapan 2," where Hashmi interacted with the audience alongside co-star Disha Patani. The actor suggested that the story of Shivam Pandit, his character, might continue in "Awarapan 3".

"Awarapan 2," directed by Nitin Kakkar, sees Shivam Pandit entangled in a dangerous mission focused on rescuing abducted children and confronting human trafficking networks. The film also features Disha Patani as Zara and Shabana Azmi as Nafisa. Since its release on August 14, the action thriller has achieved significant commercial success, grossing over Rs 72.90 crore globally within its first two days.

The original "Awarapan," released in 2007, initially had a modest box office performance but later gained a cult following due to its music, emotional narrative, and Hashmi's performance. The sequel aims to build on this legacy, offering more action and emotional depth to the storyline.
