Emma Stone Shaves Head for Thrilling New Thriller Role

In a bold move for her craft, acclaimed actress Emma Stone has shaved her head for her upcoming thriller film Bugonia. The 36-year-old Oscar winner is known for her versatility, often taking on roles that challenge her to experiment with different looks and emotions.

For Bugonia, Stone plays the character of Michelle Fuller, the CEO of a pharmaceutical company who is kidnapped by two theorists. The theorists are convinced that she is an alien who wants to destroy the planet, so they shave her head to prevent her from contacting her "mothership."

To prepare for this intense role, Stone had to first convince her 4-year-old daughter that the drastic hair change was "silly and fun." She reassured the young girl that her hair would grow back, and her daughter was "totally cool" with the transformation.

The filming process for the shaving scene was also a delicate one, as the director, Yorgos Lanthimos, used four cameras to ensure they captured the moment perfectly. Stone admitted to having some "cold feet" about the scene, but she ultimately calmed herself and embraced the change, knowing that even a slight flinch could ruin the take.
