Emma Roberts Weds! Inside Her Vintage-Inspired Idaho Nuptials

Actress Emma Roberts recently attended the US Open, marking one of her first public appearances since marrying actor Cody John on July 25th. Their wedding took place at his family's home in Sun Valley, Idaho, with the couple aiming for a "vacation" feel for their guests.

Roberts wore a custom Monique Lhuillier silk chiffon gown in a unique "Vintage Rose" shade, designed to look vintage-inspired, resembling "a little antique ghost doll." For the after-party, she changed into a black Monique Lhuillier design from 2004. Her five-year-old son, Rhodes, had the special role of walking her down the aisle.

The couple met on a blind date in May 2022, introduced by a mutual friend, and their initial drinks meeting lasted eight hours. They confirmed their relationship on Instagram in August 2022 and became engaged two years later. Roberts has chosen to keep much of her relationship private, a decision influenced by past intense public scrutiny.

Family members, including her aunt Julia Roberts and Demi Moore, attended the intimate ceremony. Emma's father, Eric Roberts, was not present but expressed his support.
