Summary
- Kid Rock announced a new album featuring Eminem.
- Fans question the surprising collaboration due to differing views.
- The artists previously collaborated in 1998 and 2013.
Kid Rock unveiled the tracklist for his forthcoming album, "Halfway to Jesus," on October 1, 2026. The project includes a feature from Eminem on a song named "7 Sins."
This collaboration has sparked considerable discussion, particularly because of the artists' contrasting political ideologies. However, Rock and Eminem have a long-standing professional relationship, dating back to 1998 when Eminem appeared on Rock's track "Fuck Off." Eminem also featured Kid Rock in the music video for his 2013 single "Berzerk."
Many fans expressed skepticism online, with some suggesting Eminem might have provided an older verse for the track. Others defended the collaboration, citing their shared Detroit roots and past musical history, suggesting music and loyalty to their hometown might outweigh political differences.
Supporters are eager to hear Eminem's contribution, anticipating it will be as strong as his previous work. Some fans acknowledge Kid Rock's musical appeal despite not being a regular listener of his music.
