Elvira Shares Spooky Recipes and Macabre Memories in New Cookbook

Elvira, the legendary "Mistress of the Dark," has just released her new cookbook, Elvira's Cookbook From Hell, catering to her devoted goth fans. In a recent interview, Elvira shares a haunting tale from her past, recounting a Thanksgiving dinner party she hosted sometime in the early 1990s.

The eclectic guest list included celebrities like Melissa Etheridge, Linda Blair, and the late actor River Phoenix. When Phoenix finally arrived, he brought along his entire family, including his younger siblings, who were all going by the names Leaf, Summer, Brooke, and Stallion. This unexpected influx of guests caused a stir, as Elvira had to scramble to accommodate the additional people at her formal dinner table.

The situation took an even more unsettling turn when Elvira was carrying out a large corn casserole. As she presented the dish, Phoenix bent down to take a closer look and his "grimy old beanie" fell directly into the creamy concoction. Despite her initial anger, Elvira decided to simply pick out the beanie and serve the casserole anyway, as she had spent all day cooking and was not about to start over.

Surprisingly, the dinner ended on a high note when Phoenix approached Elvira and gave her "the biggest hug, the sweetest, sweetest hug," thanking her for the wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. Elvira's macabre memories and her new cookbook, filled with deliciously dark recipes, are sure to delight her loyal goth fans.
