Elon Musk recently made the controversial film 'Citizen Vigilante' available to his over 240 million X followers, a move that has drawn significant attention. The film, starring Armie Hammer, was banned in Germany by regulators who cited concerns that its violent themes could incite violence against immigrants. Despite this, director Uwe Boll also shared the movie, and it has since been re-uploaded by users across the platform.

'Citizen Vigilante' features Hammer as a wealthy American businessman in Croatia who becomes a vigilante targeting criminals and corrupt officials. The film's content has evidently resonated with some, as it climbed to the second spot on Apple TV. Musk expressed his enthusiasm, stating that a sequel, 'Citizen Vigilante 2,' planned for a 2027 release, will be even better.

Armie Hammer, known for 'The Social Network' and 'Call Me by Your Name,' stars in one of his first leading roles since facing allegations of sexual assault in 2021. He denied these claims, and no criminal charges were filed against him in 2023. Hammer shared his emotional reaction to getting the role, expressing his deep desire to work again.
