New 'Strictly: It Takes Two' presenter Ellie Taylor has detailed a frightening incident during a recent family holiday on the Sussex coast. Her young son, aged just under three years old, experienced severe breathing difficulties.

What began as a mild cough before arriving at their accommodation escalated into a serious concern. Taylor had to rush her son to the Chichester A&E department late at night. Medical staff administered steroids, which proved effective, and the family was able to return to their accommodation by midnight.

Despite this alarming episode, Taylor tried to maintain a positive outlook, aiming to continue enjoying their break. However, the holiday faced further disruptions with heavy rain and her son falling and cutting his leg on gravel.

Taylor, who also recently spilled a drink on her phone, reflected humorously on the chaotic nature of family holidays. She noted that such trips with very young children can be overwhelming, suggesting holidays with children under five might be best avoided.
