Ellie Goulding Teases New Music, Inspired by TikTok

Singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding has announced her sixth studio album will be released soon. She has been working closely with producer Jack Rochon, whom she discovered on TikTok while he was still an emerging artist in Canada. Rochon has since relocated to Los Angeles and has worked with major artists, including Beyoncé.

Goulding expressed her excitement about discovering and championing new talent, drawing parallels to her own early career discoveries. She has recorded numerous songs with Rochon, experimenting with various sounds and emotional expressions. This process is described as organic and honest, akin to journaling through music.

Her forthcoming record will explore themes related to her separation from ex-husband Caspar Jopling, which occurred in 2024 after five years of marriage. Goulding, who has a four-year-old son, Arthur, with Jopling, did not anticipate creating a "divorce album."

Recently, Goulding debuted her single 'Black Prada Dress' in North East England. She explained that the song targets negative self-talk and internal criticism. The artist hopes listeners will connect with its raw honesty and personal themes.
