Summary
- Filmmakers lived with Holmes before her prison sentence.
- Holmes claimed she had never lied before her sentencing.
- Amanda Seyfried reprised her role in the documentary.

The documentary "You Can See Everything" provides an unusually intimate look at Elizabeth Holmes' private life in the 34 days preceding her federal prison sentence, which began in May 2023.
Directors Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim gained extraordinary access, even residing at Holmes' California home with her partner Billy Evans and their children. The film, which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival on September 6 and the New York Film Festival on September 30, is set to be released in theaters on October 16.
During filming, Holmes made the surprising assertion that she had never told a lie in her life. She also broke down in tears while watching Amanda Seyfried's Emmy-winning portrayal of her in "The Dropout".
In a meta twist, Seyfried was enlisted to reprise her role. She reenacted Holmes' words and offered her candid opinions, leading to a heated dinner with Evans where he reportedly demanded a share of the film's profits and revealed he controlled Holmes' X account, posting without her approval.
