Elisabeth Moss, known for her role in 'The Handmaid's Tale,' is set to star in a new Hulu series, 'Conviction.' This legal drama is an adaptation of Jack Jordan's 2023 novel. David Shore, recognized for his work on 'House' and 'The Good Doctor,' will serve as writer and executive producer.
Moss will portray Neve Harper, a lawyer entangled in a high-stakes murder case. Her role is complicated by a mysterious blackmailer who threatens to expose her secrets unless she secures an acquittal. The series is expected to begin production in June in New York.
This project marks Moss's latest venture with Hulu, following her acclaimed performance in 'The Handmaid's Tale.' Her prior television credits include 'The Veil,' 'Shining Girls,' and 'Mad Men.'
