Prince's Ex Reveals Non-Exclusive Dating Reality

Singer Elisa Fiorillo, who dated Prince in the early 1990s, has spoken about the groundbreaking musician's approach to relationships.

Fiorillo, who recorded at Prince's Paisley Park studio, explained that she felt she "wasn't the only one" and that the lack of exclusivity was a significant issue for her. She recalled that Prince, known for hits like "When Doves Cry," took a year before calling her his girlfriend.

"That's how he dated all the people," Fiorillo claimed, mentioning that she observed other women coming and going from his home. She also served as a backing vocalist on some of his albums before joining his band, the New Power Generation, in 2010.

Despite the complexities, Fiorillo, now 57, remembered her experience with Prince positively. She highlighted a deep comfort and connection that persisted even after two decades apart, stating, "it was as if nothing ever happened."
