29 Oct
Summary
- Former WWE Speed Champion Elio LeFleur cleared for competition.
- LeFleur returns to NXT after seven months due to shoulder injury.
- He defeated Tristan Angels in a pre-show dark match.

Elio LeFleur, a 27-year-old French wrestling star formerly holding the WWE Speed Championship, has been medically cleared to compete. He had been sidelined for seven months due to a torn labrum and ligament damage in his shoulder, undergoing surgery in April. LeFleur made his in-ring return on October 27, appearing on NXT at the Performance Center. He successfully defeated Tristan Angels in a pre-show dark match. This comeback was confirmed by LeFleur on X, where he posted a simple message of being "cleared."
His real-life injury led to a storyline where he was attacked, writing him off television and vacating his Speed Championship. LeFleur's NXT debut occurred in January, after his late 2025 AAA debut. His reign as Speed Champion lasted only 35 days before his shoulder injury at an NXT Lakeland live event.
Other recent NXT events included Jackson Drake retaining his North American Championship against EK Prosper. Sean Legacy also defeated Saquon Shugars, and Chantel Monroe secured a singles win. The 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic finals are set, featuring Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno against Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. Cody Rhodes will present the trophy to the winners, and John Cena is also slated to appear on a future show.
