Casillas Saga Ends: Lord of the Skies' Final Battle

The acclaimed "El Señor de los Cielos" franchise is concluding its run with its tenth season, set to premiere on Tuesday, July 7. This final chapter will bring the saga of Aurelio Casillas to an explosive close after more than a decade on air.

In the upcoming season, Aurelio Casillas is portrayed as more determined and ruthless than ever. Following a period of absence, he re-emerges with the intention of regaining control of his vast empire. His quest involves confronting both familiar and new enemies as he seeks to solidify his legacy.

Rafael Amaya returns to his signature role as Aurelio Casillas, and for this significant tenth season, he is also taking on an executive producer role. The cast features returning fan favorites Carmen Aub as Rutila Casillas and Isabella Castillo as Diana Ahumada, among a large ensemble of actors.

This Telemundo Studios production, created by Luis Zelcowicz, has been a cornerstone of Spanish-language television since its debut in 2013. The series has also seen success with its spin-off, "Dinastía Casillas," which premiered in 2025.
