Ekta Kapoor's First Cricket Match Experience!

For the first time in her life, producer Ekta Kapoor experienced watching a cricket match. The event was the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 final held on March 8th, where India faced New Zealand. Kapoor shared her unique perspective, admitting her initial disinterest in cricket while enjoying the game in a mini-theatre setting. She was joined by actress Urvashi Dholakia and later by friends Sussanne Khan and Arslan Goni.

Kapoor playfully encouraged viewers to watch her show 'Naagin' during match breaks, while expressing her hope for an Indian victory. India ultimately triumphed over New Zealand in the final, which took place on International Women's Day at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The match concluded India's successful campaign in the T20 World Cup.
