The upcoming romantic drama, Ek Din, has launched its advance ticket sales an unprecedented 39 days before its cinematic debut on May 1. By April 11, the film had already sold approximately 520 tickets, indicating strong early interest.
PVR INOX Pictures, the distributor for the Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi starrer, has spoken about the innovative release strategy. Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Executive Director of PVR INOX, noted that opening advance bookings early is a sign of confidence in a film.
Bijli also reflected on his past collaborations with producer Aamir Khan, including co-producing films like Taare Zameen Par and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. He praised Khan as a thought leader who consistently pushes boundaries in filmmaking and promotion.
While PVR INOX has distributed other Aamir Khan productions like Sitaare Zameen Par, the distribution plans for Khan's next project, Lahore 1947, remain unconfirmed.
