Tanja Meissner, director of Berlinale Pro, emphasized the vital role of this initiative in supporting Europe's export-ready animation sector amidst industry transformation. Additionally, EFM Beyond will explore cross-media collaboration opportunities.
Morocco has been selected as the EFM's Country in Focus for 2026, promising curated events to highlight its production capabilities and co-production potential. The market will also feature returning programs like EFM Startups and the EFM Investors Forum, alongside new initiatives such as the Berlinale Film School Summit, underscoring the EFM's commitment to innovation and talent development.
