Ed Sheeran Charts New Territory on Billboard

Ed Sheeran has made a notable entry onto the Billboard charts with his latest musical offering. His collaboration with electronic dance producer Martin Garrix, titled "Repeat It," has debuted on two genre-specific lists in America. The song achieved its highest placement at No. 4 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, marking Sheeran's first appearance on this particular tally. This debut also signifies a career high for the English singer-songwriter on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart, where "Repeat It" launched at No. 12. This achievement contrasts with the performance of his eighth album, "Play," which was released in September 2025 and did not appear on any Billboard charts. "Play" was promoted by the lead single "Azizam," but neither the album nor its tracks gained traction on the charts. In addition to his new dance chart success, two of Sheeran's older songs, "Shape of You" and "Perfect," charted globally on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and Billboard Global 200. His album +-=÷× (Tour Collection) also appeared on the Billboard 200, falling to No. 145.
