While attending a show at the CBS Arena in Coventry with her partner George Taylor, Gardner was surprised with a marriage proposal. Gardner, who had previously seen Sheeran perform six times, expressed that the proposal needed to be at one of his concerts. Her partner cleverly secured tickets just a week before the event, adding to the surprise.
