EastEnders star Perry Fenwick, who has portrayed Billy Mitchell since 1998, was previously married to Coronation Street actress Angela Lonsdale. Fenwick, 63, has been a fixture on the BBC soap, experiencing numerous dramatic storylines.
Lonsdale, 58, played police officer Emma Taylor on the Manchester-based soap for three years from 2000. Her Corrie character was involved in significant plots, including shooting a character and marrying Curly Watts. After leaving Weatherfield, she appeared in other series like The Bill and Doctors.
The soap crossover couple reportedly met at a dedicated event and married in 2005. Fenwick proposed with a romantic message written in pebbles on a beach. They went on to have three children together, Lucy, Isabella, and Jayden.
However, their union was short-lived. Five years after their wedding, in 2010, a representative announced their separation. Sources indicated the split was amicable, stating they had 'run out of love' but were determined to remain friends.
Fenwick is known for keeping his private life out of the public eye. Lonsdale has since announced plans for a second marriage to guitarist Jonny Davies, which was reported in 2016.
