DWTS Season 35 Premiere: Stars Hit the Ballroom Floor!

The 35th season of Dancing With the Stars commenced with a highly anticipated two-night premiere event. To ensure each of the 16 celebrity-professional dance pairings receives adequate spotlight, the premiere episodes were segmented by gender.

Male celebrities showcased their routines on the first night, with female celebrities following on the second. A unique aspect of this season's premiere is that each contestant will perform to a number-one song from the year of their birth. At the conclusion of each premiere episode, the couple with the lowest combined judges' scores and viewer votes will be eliminated, setting the stage for competitive weeks ahead.
