Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) is gearing up for its 35th season this fall, with early casting announcements revealing Ciara Miller from Summer House and Maura Higgins from The Traitors and Love Island as the first two celebrity participants. The popular ABC dancing competition will air on ABC and Disney+, with next-day streaming available on Hulu.
The show is also expanding into a franchise with a new series titled 'Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro.' This competition will feature 12 aspiring dancers competing for a spot as a professional on the main show. Hosted by season 34 winner Robert Irwin, 'The Next Pro' is set to premiere on July 13 at 8 p.m. on ABC, also streaming the next day on Hulu. Judges for the new series include three-time DWTS champion Mark Ballas and his mother, Shirley Ballas.
