Devang Sampat, Managing Director of Cinepolis India, commented that six films in a single week is substantial. He added that while festivals boost audience numbers, each film receives less time to capture its target audience. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh echoed the sentiment of a crowded release schedule, expressing hope that all films find their audience amidst increasing competition leading up to Diwali.
Historically, Dussehra has seen notable film clashes, such as Kantara Chapter 1 versus Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari in 2025, and Tejas against Ganapath Part 1, Bhagavanth Kesari, and Leo in 2023.
