'Dude' Slows Down at Box Office After Strong Start

According to the latest reports, the film 'Dude' has experienced a slowdown at the box office after a strong opening. On its 13th day, the movie earned Rs 91 lakhs, bringing its cumulative earnings to approximately Rs 69 crore across all languages.
The Tamil version of 'Dude' has maintained a steady attendance, with an overall occupancy of 15.11% on Wednesday, October 29. The film's performance ranged from 12.45% in the morning to 16.22% in the afternoon, stabilizing around 16.20% by night.
However, the Telugu version of the film has witnessed a sharper decline, with an overall occupancy of 10.62%. The audience turnout for the Telugu version ranged from 9.73% in the morning to 11.07% by evening.

With the weekday earnings dropping below Rs 1 crore, 'Dude' is now likely to rely on its upcoming weekend performance to cross the Rs 70 crore mark domestically. The film, directed by debutant Keerthiswaran and starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, has been described as a 'one-time watchable' flick, not quite up to the mark of Pradeep Ranganathan's previous movies 'Dragon' and 'Love Today'.
