Summary
- DSP exited Ustaad Bhagat Singh due to scheduling conflicts.
- Thaman will now compose the background score for the film.
- DSP's songs will remain, contributing to the film's soundtrack.

Devi Sri Prasad, popularly known as DSP, is no longer composing the background score for the highly anticipated film Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Mythri Movie Makers, the production house, officially announced that DSP's departure is a result of scheduling conflicts and not creative differences.
This change stems from delays in the production team finalizing and sending film reels for the background score. These delays exhausted the timeline within which DSP was contractually committed to the project. Consequently, he could not continue due to prior engagements.
Despite his exit from the background score, DSP has already delivered impactful music for the film's album, with singles like 'Dekhlenge Saala' and 'Aura of Ustaad' gaining significant popularity. The production house confirmed that Thaman will now take over the background score composition.
Directed by Harish Shankar, Ustaad Bhagat Singh stars Pawan Kalyan and Sreeleela and is slated for a worldwide release on March 19, 2026. The film also features Raashii Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, and Gautami in key roles.
