Dropout has officially submitted its flagship series, 'Game Changer' and 'Very Important People,' for Emmy consideration. The improvisational talk series 'Very Important People' will compete in outstanding variety series, a newly merged category. Actor and writer Vic Michaelis is also submitted for lead comedy actress for their role on 'VIP,' a category that has previously recognized performers from similar variety programs.
'Game Changer,' Dropout's most-watched show, is aiming for an Emmy in the outstanding game show category. The series was ineligible last year due to not meeting the episode count requirement within the eligibility window. However, the final seven episodes of its seventh season are now eligible for voting by the Television Academy.
The Emmy Awards timeline includes nomination-round voting from June 11-22, with nominations announced on July 8. This submission represents a significant effort by Dropout to gain industry recognition for its unique content.
