Drishyam's Global Reign: Indonesian Remake Confirmed!

The acclaimed Malayalam thriller 'Drishyam' has secured an official remake in Indonesia, titled 'Ayah, Aku Mau Cerita...', which translates to 'Dad, I Want to Tell You...'. This film is slated for a nationwide theatrical release on August 20, marking a significant milestone as the first Malayalam film to receive a dedicated Indonesian adaptation. The lead roles will be portrayed by Indonesian celebrity couple Vino G. Bastian and Marsha Timothy, stepping into the shoes of the protective father and the determined investigator, respectively.

Directed by Danial Rifki, the Indonesian version aims to resonate with local cultural contexts while preserving the original narrative's suspense and emotional core. This development follows 'Drishyam's' history of successful remakes across India and internationally. Concurrently, the latest installment, 'Drishyam 3' directed by Jeethu Joseph, is enjoying a robust theatrical run. After its opening day, the film accumulated Rs 26.90 crore in net collections within India, demonstrating its continued appeal to audiences.
