Drishyam 3 Hindi Crosses 500 Cr, Diverges From Original

The Hindi thriller 'Drishyam 3: The Conclusion,' starring Ajay Devgn, has achieved a significant financial milestone, crossing Rs 500 crore in worldwide gross collections on its 12th day. Actress Shriya Saran, who features in the film, has stated that direct comparisons with Mohanlal's original Malayalam 'Drishyam' are unwarranted because the Hindi adaptation follows a distinctly different storyline. She attributed the film's positive reception to director Abhishek Pathak's writing and direction.

Saran elaborated that the Hindi installment has forged its own narrative path, diverging from the third Malayalam film released earlier this year. Despite both versions continuing the story of Georgekutty, their differing approaches have led to viewer discussions. Meanwhile, Mohanlal, the lead in the original Malayalam 'Drishyam' films, has commended the Hindi team, including director Abhishek Pathak and lead actor Ajay Devgn, for bringing the story to a fitting end.
