Drishyam 3 has achieved a monumental opening, becoming Ajay Devgn's career-best on its first day. The film grossed ₹66.7 crore in India, exceeding the opening day earnings of popular films such as 'Pathaan' and 'Animal'. Filmmaker Karan Johar shared his enthusiastic review on Instagram, praising the film as 'mazedaar, lajawab' and commending Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat for their 'outstanding' performances. Director Abhishek Pathak also received accolades for his 'brilliant' direction. Ajay Devgn revealed that he consulted with Malayalam star Mohanlal, who originated the role of Georgekutty, before proceeding with the Hindi installment. Titled 'Drishyam 3: The Conclusion', this is the final part of the Hindi series, featuring Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar and Tabu as Meera Deshmukh, with a fresh storyline. The film's impressive debut was further supported by the Gandhi Jayanti holiday. Reports indicate a worldwide opening day collection of ₹95 crore, solidifying its position as a major box office success.
