New Nordic Noir & Cold War Heist from Whiskey on the Rocks Team

Dramanation, the production house behind the acclaimed "Whiskey on the Rocks," has announced two new premium series: "Becker & Kempe" and "Made in Sweden."

"Becker & Kempe" is a Nordic Noir crime and cop-actioner set primarily in Göteborg, Sweden, following detectives Milla Becer and Simon Kempe as they combat international crime and corruption. The project is currently in co-development with a streamer, with Dramanation seeking an additional local partner.

"Made in Sweden" is a Cold War political thriller/dramedy, drawing parallels to "Tetris." It recounts the true story of the Swedish government's sale of 1,000 Volvo 144 sedans to North Korea, intended as a commerce-driven diplomatic move. The narrative takes a heist and espionage turn as North Korea delays payment and both the KGB and CIA become involved.
