Drake shared a teaser on September 12, 2026, for his upcoming "not so short film" titled "Fear of Missing Out," scheduled for release on September 15, 2026. The teaser, dropped on Instagram, suggests the project is a film, dispelling earlier fan speculation about it being an album or tour.
The teaser features a man in a speedboat with a voiceover discussing alternate life versions and self-discovery. This cinematic release follows Drake's recent surprise drop of three albums: "Iceman," "Habibti," and "Maid of Honour," comprising 43 songs.
Known for his elaborate promotional campaigns, Drake previously marked the release of "Iceman" with a 25-foot ice sculpture in Toronto. The "FOMO" film continues this pattern of grand rollouts for his artistic projects.
