Drake Shocks Houston by Joining Karol G Onstage

Drake made a surprise appearance at Karol G's concert in Houston on Sunday, September 27, 2026. The global superstar joined the Colombian artist onstage for a performance of Drake's 2016 hit "One Dance," a moment captured by excited fans.

This collaboration builds on a series of recent interactions between the two artists. Drake had previously appeared on the Jumbotron at Karol G's Toronto show in July and was name-checked on his "Maid of Honour" project. Their joint single "Ahí," released in August, debuted at number one on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart.

"One Dance," released in 2016, was a significant career milestone for Drake, becoming his first Billboard Hot 100 number one as a lead artist. For Karol G, this performance adds to her groundbreaking year, which includes headlining Coachella and achieving the first all-Spanish-language album by a woman to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 with "Mañana Será Bonito."
