Country Crooner Drake Milligan Rides High with Tumbleweed Album and World Tour

In the past three years, country singer Drake Milligan has been on a whirlwind journey, playing over 300 shows and establishing himself as a rising star in the genre. Now, the 24-year-old is set to release his new album "Tumbleweed," which he says reflects his constant motion and creative inspiration.

Recorded in Nashville with producer Trent Willmon, the album blends Milligan's Texas country roots with a modern Nashville sound, creating a unique and captivating musical experience. "Tumbleweed really reflects where I'm headed creatively, and I couldn't be more excited to share it today," he tells PEOPLE.

Despite the breakneck pace of his career, Milligan has maintained a strong support system of family, friends, and loyal fans who have helped ground him. "If I'm the tumbleweed, then those people are the wind that guides me," he explains.

Now, Milligan is ready to take center stage, embarking on an ambitious world tour that kicks off in November. After opening for country superstars like Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, and Blake Shelton, he's thrilled to headline his own shows and see fans singing along to his new songs. "It feels amazing to step out and headline these shows," he says. "I can't wait to see the fans singing these new songs back to me in the crowd."
