Rapper Drake recently presented a highly valuable Richard Mille watch to his friend Kyle Forgeard to mark his birthday. The celebration took place in Toronto on July 11. Forgeard, a co-founder of Nelk Boys, was visibly astonished by the luxurious gift.
The timepiece is believed to be the RM 11-03 McLaren edition, a limited-run model from 2018 co-developed with McLaren. Initially retailing for $191,500, its current market value is estimated between $400,000 and $500,000.
Drake has a well-documented appreciation for Richard Mille watches, owning several pieces from the brand. This is not the first time he has gifted an expensive watch to Forgeard; a Rolex was given last year. Earlier in the year, Drake also made a significant contribution to Forgeard's charitable efforts.
Drake donated $150,000 to Forgeard's 100-mile marathon fundraiser for the HunterSeven Foundation, which raised over $330,000 for cancer research. Forgeard expressed his gratitude for Drake's substantial support.
