Brooks Claims Drake Sent Threatening Breakup Texts

Suede Brooks has spoken out about her past relationship with Drake, alleging she received threatening messages from the artist following their split. Brooks recounted on a podcast that Drake sent her explicit threats, stating he would have 'bitches fold me up verbatim.'

These alleged threats stemmed from what Brooks described as a significant miscommunication. She explained that Drake believed she was speaking negatively about him in Los Angeles, which she vehemently denied. At the time, Brooks was 21 or 22 years old.

As a result of the alleged messages, Brooks claimed she isolated herself, not leaving her home for approximately three months due to fear for her safety. She felt particularly vulnerable given Drake's prominence and influence.

Brooks and Drake were romantically linked in July 2022 after being seen together in Saint-Tropez. She described their relationship as on-and-off for several months before she decided to end it, feeling tired of the dynamic.

Despite the distressing experience, Brooks expressed ongoing admiration for Drake's talent and wished him future happiness. She clarified that she has not spoken to him recently and prefers not to maintain contact with ex-partners after a breakup.
