Dragon Ball Super Remake Premieres October 2027!

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, a new anime remake, is scheduled for its premiere on October 11, 2027, airing on Fuji TV. This series will adapt the "Battle of Gods," "Resurrection F," and "Universe 6 Saga" story arcs. New opening and ending themes, "ONOGAMI" by MEGATERA・ZERO and "Kan Peki No Peki" by VK Blanka, have been revealed, suggesting a tonal shift from the original.

The remake is rumored to be significantly shorter, with approximately 20 episodes compared to the original anime's extensive run. This condensed format aims to improve art direction and animation, incorporating manga-exclusive scenes. Following the conclusion of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, there is strong speculation that Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol will begin airing soon after.
