Dr. Drew Wins 'Nation's Dumbest' Finale
23 Jul
Summary
- Dr. Drew Pinsky correctly answered a bison question to win.
- Eleven contestants competed to avoid being declared 'nation's dumbest'.
- Multiple challenges tested logic, general knowledge, and spelling.
The competition to avoid being crowned "nation's dumbest" reached its climax on the July 22 episode of the Fox show, hosted by Jack Whitehall. Eleven celebrity contestants battled through a series of demanding challenges.
Early rounds included a logic test to identify a faulty lightbulb and a general knowledge quiz where incorrect answers caused balloons to inflate, with the risk of popping. These challenges significantly reduced the contestants' stars, which were crucial for survival.
A team-based spelling bee on a retracting beam further tested the stars, with incorrect letters causing members to fall. This collaborative effort led to a refined group advancing.
In the final exam, contestants faced elimination with each incorrect answer. Dr. Drew Pinsky ultimately triumphed over JoJo Siwa by correctly answering "bison" to the question about North America's largest land animal, thus graduating from the competition and avoiding the "nation's dumbest" title.
