Toho Co., Ltd. has officially announced major updates for the upcoming return of "Dorohedoro." A new trailer offers an extended glimpse into Season 2, reigniting the dark and distinctive world of Hole. The visuals hint at deeper revelations concerning the amnesiac protagonist, Caiman, and the ongoing struggles between the inhabitants of Hole and the powerful sorcerers.
The latest announcements include the full voice cast for the newly introduced Cross-Eyes gang. Key members like Dokuga and Tetsujo will be voiced by Uchiyama Koki and Hamano Daiki, respectively. Hamano described his character Tetsujo as a grounded executive navigating the surreal challenges of their world.
(K)now_Name, the acclaimed music group behind Season 1's soundtrack, is confirmed to return. They will provide the series' opening theme, "Zettai Must Danmen," the ending theme, "Return To Head," and the complete background score, promising to enhance the anime's unique atmosphere.
Directed by Hayashi Yuichiro, also known for "Attack on Titan: The Final Season," and animated by MAPPA, "Dorohedoro" Season 2 is slated for release on April 1 on Crunchyroll and other streaming platforms. Toho has also launched an official global website to centralize updates.
