A limited-time crossover event is set to bring the world of DOOM: The Dark Ages into Diablo Immortal. Titled "The Slayer's Reign," this event will commence on April 15 and conclude on May 13. During this period, players can expect Sanctuary to be transformed with elements inspired by the DOOM franchise.
This includes new gameplay mechanics, themed enemies, and cosmetic items drawn from the DOOM: The Dark Ages era. Players will have access to "Slayer-inspired" weapons such as the Shield Saw and the Super Shotgun, along with unique skills designed to reward momentum and aggressive combat.
The event's main boss will be the Cyberdemon, an Ancient Elder of Hell that players must defeat using the new Slayer abilities and weaponry. Victory will yield the legendary gem, The Crucible, which enhances damage against low-health enemies and grants "Slayer's Rage" for increased damage and movement speed.
Further rewards for participating in The Slayer's Reign include DOOM-themed weapon cosmetics, a Serrat mount, a Cacodemon minion transmog, a Legendary Crest, various crests, emojis, set gear, and armory weapon cosmetics.
