Soul Sensation Don West Signs With Kobalt Music

Don West, an emerging soul artist from Sydney, has officially joined the roster of independent music publisher Kobalt. This signing follows a period of significant breakthrough for the artist, who has quickly gained a substantial following. His music, characterized by a throwback, soulful sound, has already captured the attention of close to 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

West's debut album, 'Give Me All Your Love,' co-written and produced by Nathan Hawes, recently debuted at number 25 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Kobalt's head of creative services for Australia & New Zealand, Briese Abbott, praised West's effortless charisma and his unique sound, which blends classic soul influences with contemporary appeal.

Prior to this major publishing deal, West released a successful six-track EP and completed a national headline tour. He has also received nominations and recognition from various music awards and programs, including Spotify's RADAR program. Despite a recent postponement of his US tour due to health reasons, West is currently touring in Australia with plans for another global tour in 2026.
