- Ranveer Singh has sued FWICE for issuing a non-cooperation directive.

The dispute surrounding Ranveer Singh's exit from Don 3 has escalated, with new details emerging about behind-the-scenes negotiations. Initially announced in August 2023, the film faced scarce updates after its launch.
By December 2025, however, events shifted dramatically. The release of Ranveer's blockbuster film Dhurandhar on December 2, 2025, altered his industry standing. Just days after script readings for Don 3, Ranveer reportedly withdrew on December 20, 2025, citing script, creative, budget, and delay concerns.
This decision triggered significant industry intervention. Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, and Karan Johar were among the stars involved in mediation efforts. During one meeting, producer Ritesh Sidhwani questioned if Ranveer would have exited Don 3 had Dhurandhar not succeeded, to which Ranveer allegedly replied he would not have.
The fallout continued with an independent audit calculating a Rs 45 crore demand from Excel Entertainment. The Federation of Western Cine Employees (FWICE) subsequently issued a non-cooperation directive. In response, Ranveer Singh has now sued FWICE.
