Mokster Films, based in Singapore, is set to launch international sales for the Indonesian horror sequel, Dominion Of Darkness 2, at the upcoming European Film Market in Berlin. This film follows the success of its predecessor, Dominion Of Darkness, a 2024 breakout hit focusing on Christian exorcism in Indonesia.
The sequel, directed by Rizal Mantovani, promises expanded mythology with "higher stakes, deeper theological lore, and elevated supernatural terror." It centers on Catholic exorcists Father Rendra and Father Thomas, reprising their roles. They investigate a possession in a remote East Java town, linked to a generations-old blood pact that has awakened an ancient demon.
With the Church withdrawing its support, the priests must face the demonic entity alone. The narrative explores the limits of their faith as the entity poses a threat of global annihilation. Dominion Of Darkness 2 is produced by Paragon Pictures and Ideosource Entertainment, with a theatrical release anticipated for October 2026.
