The Dominican American trio from Lynn, Massachusetts, has released THE LIFE OF ERG, a vibrant tape filled with local nuances and evocative production. The album shares compelling tales of small-city kingpins within the New England rust belt.
Frontman Erg One's verses are enlivened by sharp wit and references to tropical destinations. Producer BoneWeso crafts a soundscape that merges psychedelic elements with pragmatism. Estee Nack, a veteran of two decades, adds depth with his hooks and verses.
Nack's prior work with Tragic Allies showcased his lyrical precision. His later style, influenced by artists like Roc Marciano, features slowed tempos and whittled samples, blending East Coast rap conventions with Spanish verses.
