Dom Dolla, the acclaimed Australian EDM artist, has unveiled his first release of 2026: "Addicted to Bass (Dom Dolla Relapse)." This new track is a remix of Puretone's iconic 1998 song, a record Dom Dolla holds dear as the soundtrack to his youth. He shared that the original track was a constant companion during his childhood.
Originally a hit for Puretone, the song also found significant success in the UK, reaching No. 2 on the Official Singles Chart in 2002. Dom Dolla secured permission from the original artists, Josh Abrahams and Amiel Daemion. Daemion praised Dolla's remix for adding a "dirty funk groove" while respecting the original's chorus.
The "Addicted to Bass" remix debuted in December 2025 during Dom Dolla's groundbreaking performance at Sydney's Allianz Stadium. This event capped a remarkable year for the artist, which included a Grammy nomination, multiple ARIA Awards, sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, and contributing to the soundtrack for F1: The Movie.
Looking ahead in 2026, Dom Dolla is set for a global touring schedule, featuring major festivals and headline shows across Asia, Latin America, North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe. He will also hold a 13-week residency at Hï Ibiza and continue his residency at LIV Las Vegas.
