Dollywood Unveils Posthumous Tribute to Dolly Parton

Dollywood, the theme park envisioned by the late Dolly Parton, is preparing to implement several new features designed to honor her enduring legacy. President Eugene Naughton confirmed that these changes align with Parton's own aspirations for the park.

Visitors can anticipate the addition of a new cascading waterfall and a unique stained-glass window for the park's chapel. This window will depict mountain seasons and incorporate Parton's cherished Bible verse: "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven."

In recognition of Parton's 'Imagination Library' literacy initiative, a new character named the Dream Maker will be introduced. This character aims to inspire guests to "dream big, believe in themselves, and lift others through courage and kindness."

Further enhancements include an upgraded 'portal' leading to the existing Dolly Parton Experience attraction. Additionally, kiosks will be strategically placed throughout Dollywood, offering fans a space to share their personal reflections and stories about how Parton has influenced their lives.

Naughton emphasized that Dollywood will continue to be a place of fun, kindness, and joy, fostering lasting family memories as Parton would have desired. The park plans to grow, welcome more guests, and uphold the warmth and hospitality she cherished.
