This "global double-day, double-weekend, double-continent party" is described as the official Team Dolly-produced celebration. Parton's manager stated that the festival-style concept was "truly dreamed up by Dolly" and honors her wishes for a celebration rather than a traditional memorial.
Parton, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at age 80 after a brief battle with cancer, had also postponed her Las Vegas residency in September 2025 due to health issues. The dates and ticket information for DollyFest will be announced later, with performers yet to be revealed.
