Dolly Parton: Health Battles Amidst New Ventures

Country music legend Dolly Parton is currently managing health issues that arose after she devoted time to caring for her late husband, Carl Dean, who passed in March 2025. She shared that she is dealing with health matters she previously overlooked. Parton compared the current "24/7 world with social media" to past experiences, noting how incidents are magnified today.

Despite her health setbacks, Parton is looking ahead with new fan experiences, including the early development of "avatar performances" with industry companies. She recently accepted the Poet's Award at the Academy of Country Music Awards virtually and greeted fans via video for the opening of a new ride at her Dollywood theme park. Her doctor advised against travel due to dehydration and dizziness.

Parton's busy schedule also includes the upcoming opening of her SongTeller Hotel in Nashville next month. This venue will feature live music, a speakeasy, a cafe, and a museum dedicated to her life, described as the most extensive exhibit of its kind worldwide.
